First Credit on a TV show

The first episodes of the TV Show Underdog came out on Gulli (M6+) and with it my first credit as Pipeline Developer.

As well as some tooling for CFX my main contribution to the show was an AI based algorithm to avoid rendering unnecessary frames and interpolate them. It involved 2 steps:

  • Smart detection of frames to render and frames not to render.

  • A custom AI based Interpolation node in NUKE to generate missing frames.
